This lure can be used as a down rigger or just a lure that gets you down to where you want to fish. Depending on trolling speed the depth will change. Let the lure out, feel it hit bottom, stop the line and the Fish Hunter Deep Trolling Lure will go off the bottom. At slow trolling speed the lure can reach 60’ deep. Offshore, higher trolling speed will give a 30’-40’ depth. Comes with 10’ leader and 6’ leader to add another lure. Be creative. Use good lures to help you search for fish in the water column.
