This rig looks like a squid caught a ballyhoo. Fishing for Bluefin Tuna is a great time to use pin rigs, and they are easy to rig. Depending on the water temperature and time of year makes a difference on where you place the lures. Fish the 8 oz. pin rig way back. It will be about 15’ down. The fact that it looks like a squid means that squid are deep during the day. At night they are on the surface. The Joe Shute pin rigs use fiber skirts. Ours are tough rubber and don’t tangle like theirs do and helps keep weed off the hook. Be creative with your lures and placement. Good luck!
